Job Summary:

This role leads teams (Magenta Pulse & HR Analytics ) of Software Developers, SDETs, Product Owners, Architects, and Scrum Masters to build and maintain systems, platforms, and tools that support business operations. It manages the development and delivery of software solutions for internal and external business customers. The role involves creating technical strategies in collaboration with technology and product partners to align with organizational goals. Success is measured by timely delivery, quality of software solutions, and effective team management. The work impacts the organization by enabling efficient technology solutions that support business needs and customer satisfaction.

Manager of Software Engineering is ultimately responsible for the delivery of the technology and must be adept on how to manage people effectively to achieve outcome-based delivery of solutions.

HR Analytics :

These analytics empower managers and business leaders to make decisions related to workforce planning, compliance, audit, employee learning, performance, and sentiment, among other HR topics.

CERTIFICATION AND SYSTEM EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Magenta Pulse : Adobe Cloud, Adobe AEM, Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, Java, Javascript, Typescript, VueJS, NestJS, API Gateways, NodeJS, Kubernetes, AWS, RDS mySQL, ElasticCache, OpenSearch, Route 53, Lambdas, EC2, Splunk , NewRelic, Prometheus, Grafana, AppDynamics, Docker, Gitlab
  • HR Analytics : Azure Data Factory (ADF), Databricks (bronze/silver/gold patterns), Snowflake, SQL Server, Python, Linux/Windows, Kafka, Azure Function Apps, Power BI, ML Pipelines, Data Quality and Governance, Security Compliance, Data Pipelines, Data Architecture, Modeling, and programming languages


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and develop software engineering teams through coaching and performance management (30%).
  • Improve development practices, processes, tooling, security, and compliance (30%).
  • Manage technical vendor relationships and product alignment (20%).
  • Recruit and onboard team members to support agile delivery (10%).
  • Perform additional duties as assigned (10%).


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field with 10+ years of experience.
  • Experience managing or supervising teams of 15 developers or more for 3+Years.
